My passion runs deep for planning with wonderful couples and clients and after 18 years in the industry, my planning and designing passion continues to give me all the goosebumps and butterflies as it did from day one. My focus throughout the planning is to highlight your connection as a couple and celebrate all the planning milestones because it is magical. A phone call from me always starts with “how are you feeling?” because I genuinely want to know and ensure that you are feeling all the good feels that a wedding brings. While events can be stressful, I love being able to make the process fun. My love within planning is also the design and the aesthetics that bring all the visual beauty together. My goal with design is to be intentional, highlighting the environment that you have selected and infusing the wedding couple into every design aspect that I possibly can – I want every portion of your wedding to reflect and encompass you.
Prior to White Lace, I worked at award winning resort properties and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Literature and Writing, and Art, along with a Certificate for Meeting and Event Planning. I also taught the Weddings and Social Events class at San Diego State University for several years.
I am married to my college sweetheart who stole my heart and holds my hand while dancing through this life with me. I am a mother to our magical daughter, Lacey and incredible son, Banks. They are truly the epitome of love, joy and beauty inside and out. I am quite the romantic, can you tell? I think deeply and enjoy the creative process, yet sometimes say the darndest things when an idea sparks my excitement.

There is something so special about a wedding day. The excitement of the planning, the final details, seeing the design come to life, the day itself- it is like nothing else and I love being a part of each of these moments with my couples. I believe that wedding planning is not one size fits all and I am so passionate about working with my couples to customize their planning experience to fit their needs. I want to bring the fun and excitement to each moment of wedding planning and create intentional and personalized designs that make the wedding feel even more you.

I have been part of the White Lace team for over 10 years and have loved every minute of it. I have a background in hotels, resorts and social media marketing along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meetings and Events. I love fashion and design. I was invited to attend New York Bridal Fashion Week on behalf of White Lace and love combining the world of fashion, social media and up and coming trends to cultivate the overall vibe and aesthetic of the wedding day. I recently got married myself and loved experiencing being a bride. It has allowed me to connect with my couples on a deeper level and truly understand weddings from the mindset of a bride and a wedding planner. Most importantly, I am a dog mom to my adorable golden retriever Archie and a wifey to my amazing husband, Ryan. In my free time you can find me sipping a spritz at happy hour or curled up on the couch with a glass of red wine and some reality TV in the background and most likely scrolling through tik tok and instagram.

Alexa prides herself in a hands-on client experience where no dream is too big or small for her to make happen! Her ability to hone in on her couple’s unique qualities and individualities give her the ability to bring any vision to life. With a degree in communications, Alexa has a burning passion for developing and strengthening personal relationships with both the bride and groom that ensures everyone is on the same page from beginning to end. You’ll often hear her gush about how much she “loves the love,” and she is notorious for tearing up during the first look on wedding day! From sharing magnificent design boards to attending exciting mock-ups and tastings, Alexa is your go-to girl for creating and executing the most stunning event of your wildest dreams.

Born into a large Italian family and raised in Southern California, Alexa is definitely a SoCal girl through and through. In her free time, she enjoys a good “Italian-sized” glass of Cabernet, an intriguing novel, a robust hike in the mountains, and cuddles on the couch with her Pitbull and Frenchton, Henry and Ivy. The ability to drive 4 hours in any direction and be in an entirely new climate is Alexa’s favorite thing about California, and when she isn’t hiking or reading you’ll find her camping in the desert or mountains.

I am a born and raised SoCal girl and because of my California roots you may hear me use the phrases “dope” and “chill”, but don’t let that fool you! I discovered at a very young age that I loved anything where I could be creative, eventually graduating from UC Davis with a BA degree in Design. After several years managing a fashion boutique in-store and online, I moved to San Diego to pursue a career in event planning. Utilizing my design training, I love to create curated mood boards and mock-up designs. I feel it is important to be intentional with each design decision. I enjoy learning about the lives of my couples and working on how to make their day custom to them! I believe in total inclusivity in the wedding industry and working with all types of couples. My greatest passion and driving force is designing and creating a special day and seeing my client's reactions when they first see their dream wedding become a reality. When I am not planning events, I love trying new restaurants, and you will often find me whipping up recipes in my kitchen.

When I was a little girl, I was fascinated by the idea of planning weddings and fashion shows for my Barbie dolls. Fast forward to college, I decided to turn my childhood dream into a reality. I enrolled in a Fashion/Design/Merchandise program at Mesa College in San Diego. I am a big travel girly, so through the program, I also studied abroad. These experiences helped me not only learn about the different art and cultural events around the world, but also gave me a clear vision of what I wanted for myself and my future.

When I came home, I started wedding planning and never looked back. I believe in building a relationship with each couple as well as having fun creatively through it! Aside from creating beautiful moments for our couples, I love to shop and eat at aesthetic places, while taking a ton of photos along the way. I also spend a lot of time with my best bud - my adorable two-year-old cat named Scout.
